Yuri had to help Alex with a lot of things: sitting up, drinking fluids, eating on the rare occasion. The nurses respected that, only coming in to delivery. The two puppet nurses, Lucil and Cecil, often came in just to watch. Sometimes, when Alex felt a bit stronger, they would try to entertain him. He could never actually laugh, but he at least had a genuine smile as he watched. It was nice to see that; it was nice to know that smile still existed in spite of everything.

Ugh... so... I can't think straight.

My brain's just... not into anything anymore.

I'm actually doing my homework for once (an improvement).

Although... yesterday, I almost cut into my wrist. Wasn't even thinking about it. When I realized it, I stopped, and IMed a buddy who's still out of school (lucky bastard). Gave me a couple tips, and the nice little scratch-line-but-not-bleeding is gone now (took 24 hours, but no questions. So... meh).

Gah... I wonder what's wrong with me.

For starters, I'm writing this when I highly doubt that anyone actually reads it. Come to think of it, I don't even have any watchers... ha...

But... hm... I dunno if I'm better or not. I don't really want to wrap my brain around anything... and it's getting a little harder to act like nothing's wrong...
